Internship Announcement

The Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF) and the Latino International Film Institute (LIFI) are searching for interns who could assist us in some very specific work. Below are brief descriptions of the 3 positions that we are looking to fill. We are looking for individuals who can commit to a minimum of 20 hours a week during our regular working hours (9 – 5 / M – F). Ideal for students who are looking for internships to give them an understanding of the workings of a community-based non-profit organization. All positions are unpaid.

    1. Historic Video Library Archive Intern: This individual would go through our archives and create a master record of the organization’s history.

    2. Database Intern: this individual will keep updated our database system.

    3. Youth Program Intern: This individual will helps us to keep updated our video library of the Youth program and help us to prepare details for the 2007 Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival.



LALIFF is a non profit organization whose mission is to showcase and nurture existing and emerging creative talents, while serving as a springboard and catalyst for the promotion and distribution of Latin film. In the process bring awareness of the richness and diversity of the Latin culture.
